The UAE Health Ministry is recommending that the level of flouride in UAE water be raised from 0.02 mg per litre to 0.5 to 0.7, reported Gulf News. Dubai officials said that the optimal level recommended by the World Health Organisation is 1 mg per litre which prevents around 50% of tooth decay.
