Hundreds treated to free dental care (News 14 Carolina)
ASHEBORO -- Asheboro Dental Care is normally closed on Friday. But this week, 45 doctors and hygienists rolled up their sleeves and went to work. "This morning already we had to take out four abscessed teeth; one guy had been in a fight [and] broke a tooth."
Dental care provided to Toledo students (Newport News-Times)
The Medical Teams International Dental Van provided needed dental care for 10 to 12 students at Toledo High School on Thursday, Jan. 31. This dental van visit was made possible by donations from West Coast Bank, East County Partnership, and Altrusa International of Yaquina Bay. Dr. Jef Currier and a dental assistant volunteered services for the day.

A young boy proudly showed off his smile when an adult asked if he was waiting to see a dentist. "I'm all done," the youngster said with a wide grin. The boy was one of about 175 children who received free dental care Friday at the second annual Give Kids a Smile Day in Quincy.
