Dental health gap needs to be filled (The Republican)
There's a big gap in children's dental care in the Bay State - especially in poorer cities where untreated tooth decay can lead to health complications that could have an impact on learning.
Free Dental Exams on Saturday (KSEE 24 Fresno)
The annual "Save and Seal Our Smiles" event is coming up on Saturday, February 28. Free dental care will be provide to children from pre-kindergarten through 6th grade. Services include exams, cleanings, x-rays, and cavity fillings. KSEE Sunrise reporter Pamela Prado spent the morning with Dr. Michelle Asselin with a preview of the event.

Intentions by Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty to deflate part of the state deficit by slashing dental coverage for underserved adults would cut off more 390,000 participants in the Medicaid and Minnesota Care system.
